The ns-3 Network Simulator Project
Show the progress of tests in numbers while running test.py
When the ns-3 installation is in progress, the total number of packages to build and the ones that are already built, are displayed on the left-hand side of the terminal (e.g., [1235/2680]). This helps the user to learn about the status of the installation.
After building ns-3, ‘test.py’ is used to run all the test cases. When tests are under progress, the total number of tests and the ones that have completed are not displayed. This task is about changing the test.py so that the current progress is visible to the user. ‘test.py’ is available in the root directory of ns-3.
