Purpose of the task

• Set up the workplace in Android Studio
• and design an app icon for the OSGeo App using the OSGeo logo

How to do it

Set up the workplace in Android Studio

• Fork the OSGeo-App repository GitHub Repo
• Clone your forked repository 'git clone
• Import the project in Android Studio.

Design an app icon for the OSGeo App using the OSGeo logo

• Follow the Google Play icon design specifications
• Also follow the OSGeo Brand guidelines
  • Use appropriate size and specifications.
• Use any drawing software like gimp or Inkscape

Deliverables:

• Submission should be made in a PNG file: <yourGoogleName>-icon.png
• Screenshot of imported project in Android Studio.
  • Submission should be made in a PNG file: <yourGoogleName>-studio.png
• Link to forked repository
• Screenshot of CMD/Terminal showing 'git clone' command.
  • Submission should be made in a PNG file: <yourGoogleName>-clone.png
