Basic Descriptive Works

• Write a summary of why Geoserver is an important factor in a GIS stack.
• Write a summary of what Docker is and why Docker should be used to containerise Geoserver

Environment Setup

• Install Docker on your local machine
• Get familiar with some basic Docker commands (docker run, docker pull, docker stop, docker ps, etc)

Creating the container

• Pull and existing Geoserver Image / Write a new Dockerfile for Geoserver
• Start the container
• Display a test WMS/WFS Layer

Submit

• Add all of your code/documentation to a github repo and submit the link
