Prerequisite

Install Microsoft Word or any other Word Processing Software

Steps

• Read about what are APIs and the REST architecture of APIs.

• Create a document describing your findings, include diagrams (original, not copied) wherever necessary. The document should include:

  • What are APIs and why are they used
  • What is REST, what are the different types of methods in REST
  • Take an example of any web service that uses REST and request data from any 2 of its endpoints, and attach screenshots of the responses.
  • List down the endpoints of the Mentorship App - Backend

• The document should have a cover page, table of contents, and last page should list all the resources (websites, books etc.), where you have taken ideas from.

• The cover page should have a suitable title in the middle and the following format on the bottom left or bottom right corner:

  • Task submitted by:
  • Username
  • GCI 2019 @ Systers

• Export the .doc file. # Resources

Work Submission

Submit the link to the .doc file in a shared folder on a document sharing platform(preferably Google Drive).
