Create a simple, unique, eye-catching, attractive and appealing logo for Sugar Labs.

There is no bound shape for the shape of the logo. It can be rectangular, circular, or even irregular shaped. It should match the current theme with current design trends (minimalistic).

It should be something that you can proudly present to others and looks cool when you put it on your laptops or phone cases or when printed on a badge.

Be awesome, be creative, be inspired and be original.

But also defend/sell your design with an explanation of why it represents an improvement over the current design.

Submit your artwork in an editable file format (e.g. XCF, SVG, or PSD work well), with transparency or dimension settings so we can print them properly. Submit a PNG or JPG preview too.

Mentor feedback so far has included;

• needs to be relevant to Sugar Labs, our mission, and how we work,
• needs to show the ethos of Sugar Labs in some way,
• needs to communicate the aim and vision of Sugar Labs,
• needs to be of a high standard,
• needs to use our colours,
• needs to be better than what we have now.

A logo should not be derived from or include our existing trademarks, or other trademarks.

Warning: this is not an easy task. Students should have graphic design skills. Using design software is not enough by itself.
