OBJECTIVE

The idea of this task is that you reach out to students and friends around you and to inform them about the Open Source community and inspire them to join the community and GCI contest with FOSSASIA.

TASK

Your task is to inspire and welcome more students to join the FOSSASIA and Open Source/Open Tech community, you can share information about the community and help them in their first steps. The goal is to reach at least three students and to document your activities, e.g. by sharing their GitHub name showing that they joined the community and followed and forked FOSSASIA repositories or other ways.

EXPECTED OUTCOME

• Documented outreach to students, e.g. by connecting students to FOSSASIA org on GitHub
• Informed students about FOSSASIA
• Told students about FOSSASIA Programs and specifically for High School students
• Showed students social media channels, e.g. Facebook and Twitter
