The Terasology Foundation

Create your own Github repository containing a Terasology module

Create your own Github module repository

This task teaches you how to create your own Github repository for a custom Terasology module and add a trivial piece of content to it.

Some of the more elaborate tasks will require you to work with your own module, thus, we'll show you how to create one.

To demonstrate your module in-game you'll need to add any sort of tiny trivial piece of code or content (like a single block) you can then show working in-game

You could continue working on this module and later in the contest ask to have it moved into the official Terasology org - if it is worthy! :-)

Requirements

Make sure you set up a code workspace first (beginner task) as you'll need one to be able to interact with modules and the game

Acceptance Criteria

  • a link to a module repo on your personal Github account
  • the module must contain a Terasology module
  • a screenshot of the in-game module list containing your module
  • a screenshot of your addition in-world (like a placed block or an executed custom command)

Rejection Criteria

  • the repository you've created is not a Terasology module
