The Ubuntu Code of Conduct (CoC) is the glue holding our community together. It allows us to have a wide variety of contributors from different backgrounds across the world. It ensures we work together for the purpose of making Ubuntu better, despite our differences. It allows us to be inclusive, more diverse, and ultimately, better together.

The steps of this task are threefold:

1. Read and understand the document. Feel free to ask questions if anything doesn't make sense. The Ubuntu Hub would be a great place to do so.
2. Look for anything that could use improvement. If you find anything, file a bug against the project. Really think about this one, if you can. Is there any situations you can think of that couldn't easily be resolved with the CoC or people that wouldn't be protected by the CoC? Syntax errors and style suggestions are welcome, but it's the big picture items that we're looking for.
3. Sign the document. Follow the instructions to sign the CoC using Pretty Good Privacy. By signing it, are explicitly stating that you have read and understood the document.

A completed submission will include:

1. Links to bugs reported or an explicit confirmation that you do not see any bugs in the document as it stands.
2. A link to your Launchpad account.
3. A screen shot of the /+codesofconduct page of your Launchpad showing the date of signature.

By the way, if you're not using Ubuntu (you should!), there are Windows and OS X versions of GnuPG available.
