We use test plans for manually verifying that things work as expected. This is for functionality that can be hard to check automatically.

This task is for validating the main functionality of our launcher using the launcher test plan and reporting back any issues, making updates to the test plan if necessary.

Definition of 'Done'

• Student should provide a step-by-step review notes including screenshots for testing the game launcher. This should be provided in a separate document (not a task comment!) like a GitHub Gist or forum thread
• If any steps fail include details for the failure and review the issue with a mentor before submitting the task (get guidance on whether it is a test plan failure or a misunderstanding)
• Any improvements to the test plan have been edited into the wiki page

Where to start

• See Test plans wiki to learn more about test plans
• Download the game launcher
• Run the launcher and step through the test plan, taking notes!
