Google Code-in

OBJECTIVE

Interview a student who is participating in Code-In with FOSSASIA and solicit feedback about what experience the student has. You can make the interview using your phone and shoot a video for YouTube or simply write down the interview and post it on a blog.

REQUIREMENTS

• Make a list of questions to answer and add them in the video description on YouTube or in the post.
• Include the following:
  • Ask the student where he/she is from, which school he/she attends and why he/she is participating in the contest
  • Ask the student what he/she has learned so far
• Add links to "FOSSASIA"
• Embed the video in the blog
• Share your post on social media with a screenshot
• Add a link to the FOSSASIA website and to the blog
• Add blog post link to the FOSSASIA Google Code-In website

EXPECTED OUTCOME

• Video interview or written post published on blog
• Post added with a link to the Google Code-In student website (http://gci17.fossasia.org) and FOSSASIA (http://fossasia.org)
• Provide a link to a tweet, Facebook or other social network about the task, post could be like e.g. "Made an interview with a #FOSSASIA #Google Code-In student. http://blog-link-here @fossasia @hpdang @mariobehling #OpenSource"
