TiddlyWiki as a Note-taking tool
TiddlyWiki is a personal wiki editor that can be used to create journal to develop an open-document publishing in the forms of tiddlers. A tiddler is a sole document within TiddlyWiki.
Objectives
The task is using TiddlyWiki as your personal note-taking tool for documenting your works.
Instructions
Prepare a theme that you would use the wiki for. For example, cooking recipes, travel journal, everyday life or why do you need a personal wiki.
In this task you may choose between a desktop PC or a notebook as your working station to complete.
TiddlyWiki is contained in one single html file. You can download a copy from this link http://tiddlywiki.com and get an empty html file.
This empty.html file can be renamed to your preferred filename. This renamed file can be opened using any browser such as Firefox, or Chrome.
You need a TiddlyFox add-on to edit and save if you're using Firefox browser. Get it from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/tiddlyfox/
Make a Title in the control panel to describe your wiki is all about.
Create a tiddler and fill-in with relevant content. Make at least five tiddlers and learn to use some basic editing feature like in wiki eg. making bold, italic fonts etc. Learn about the wiki and syntaxes from http://tiddlywiki.com/static/WikiText.html
Hyperlink any word/term in the wiki that requires further explanation.
Upload an image into the wiki locally (in the same directory) and include the image using the tiddlywiki wiki image inserter.
