TiddlyWiki Starter
TiddlyWiki is a lightweight application that contains the entire text of the wiki, and let you read it, edit it or search it without the need of a database. TiddlyWiki is a personal wiki editor that can be used to create journal to develop an open-document publishing.
Objective
This overall task is to make use of TiddlyWiki for documentation using the hypertext linking capability and wiki-like feature.
Instructions
In this task you may use a desktop PC or a notebook as your working station. You could prepare some writings beforehand to be put in the wiki for practicing.
The core of TiddlyWiki is contained in one single html file. You can download from http:/tiddlywiki.com to get an empty html file.
This empty.html file can be renamed to your preferred filename.
You need a Tiddlyfox add-on to save if you're using Firefox browser. Get it from: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/tiddlyfox/
Make a Title in the control panel to describe your wiki is all about.
Create the tiddler using the '+' button and fill-in the page with relevant content. Make at least five tiddlers to describe what your wiki is telling about.
Learn to use some basic editing feature like in wiki eg. making bold, italic fonts etc. And using the brackets for further hyperlinking within TiddlyWiki. Learn about the wiki syntaxes from http://tiddlywiki.com/static/WikiText.html
Try to upload an image locally and include the image in the page using the image inserter. Add more images into the wiki.
