The Terasology Launcher is the official launcher application for Terasology - an external program written using JavaFX which is capable of easily downloading, installing, and running different versions of the game. The launcher has been around for some time now and overall is in pretty good shape. However, its logo and banner image are fairly outdated.

Your task is to design a new logo (1:1) and banner image (4:1) as SVG graphics. The banner image should contain the project's name ("Terasology Launcher") and our mascot (Gooey), but everything else is up to you! You should keep in mind that the logo will be used in small rasterized versions. In addition, we would like to know how you would enhance the launcher's UI: background image, how should the scrolls bars look, which colors should be used, etc.

Definition of 'Done'

• An artwork set is submitted containing your design of logo and banner image as described above. You can post them in the forum or make a PR to the launcher repository.
• A design overhaul for the launcher is presented with graphic mockups, color palettes, alternative background images, or whatever changes you wish to make to the launcher's appearance.

Where to start

• Try running launcher and seeing what it currently looks like.
• Inkscape is a free and open-source tool for creating vector graphics. Gimp and Krita can be used to take screenshots and add your mockup ideas
• The art resources available in the forum can be used as a reference.
