We've added a nice collection of samples here:

The job consists on processing those files with CCExtractor 0.83 and generate the output for both 608 (analog captions, still default) and 708. Then write a short report for each file that shows what captions were present and if timing is in sync or not (you do this by playing the file in VLC using the generated subtitle file).
