In this task, you need to install openSCAD in your local operating system. OpenSCAD is a 3D CAD modeller for programmers. We write script in openscad GUI or run a script file at command line to generate a 3D model.

To install OpenSCAD, go to http://www.openscad.org/ and download and install following the installation instructions respective to your operating system. If everything is right, you will be able to see the GUI of OpenSCAD with an editor for writing a geometry script.

Now, go to Examples and run different example scripts and enjoy the 3D model rendered on your screen. Type your name somewhere on the screen.
