BRL-CAD

Design a business card for BRL-CAD

Design a professional business card for community members to give out to others at conferences, meetings, interviews, etc. The design will get filled in with personal information like name, title, phone number, email, maybe a mailing address too.

Designing of BRL-CAD business cards can be done in LaTeX, GIMP, Photoshop or any other editing software. Your design must specifically relate to BRL-CAD in some specific way.

Please DO use any of our formal (the three rings, http://brlcad.org/img/logo_color.png) or informal logos, include a link to our website in your design, and be sure to put a "dash" in BRL-CAD. Be awesome, be creative, be inspired, be original. A good design should take you at least 3-5 hours of effort.

Search the web or other GCI tasks for inspiration, but create an original work. Make sure you only incorporate legal artwork (look for CC-BY or BSD/MIT license or public domain content). Do NOT just use images you find on the web. Cite the source of any images you do use. If you have any doubts, just or keep it simple and fully design everything yourself.

Note: failure to cite a source may be plagiarism and grounds for dismissal from GCI.

SUBMIT your artwork in an editable file format (e.g., XCF, SVG, AI, or PSD work well), with transparency or dimension settings so we can print them properly.

SUBMIT a PNG preview too.
