Please discuss with your mentor regarding improvements you're doing before making any changes.

1) Objective

Build a nice GCI 15 Website with the FOSSASIA org. Have a look at last year's website here http://fossasia.github.io/ There is already a nice slider on this year's website on the top. You can improve the design of existing sliders or add a slider in other areas.

2) Requirements

• Use Git repo for this year's website is https://github.com/fossasia/gci15.fossasia.org
• Once you're ready with slider, create a pull request
• You can select photos for slider from here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/fossasia/
• Feel free to experiment with design.
• Keep the size of the site small
• Ensure it works on mobile devices
• Announce the artilce on twitter, FB or another network

3) Expected outcome:

• slider on the page
• accepted pull request
• links to other relevant sites for the article
• relevant text and image in sliders
• Post a message about yout task at FOSSASIA Google Code-In on Twitter (Weibo or another service) e.g. "Worked on a slider for #FOSSASIA #GCI website. Check out http://gci15.fossasia.org @fossasia @hpdang"
