Ubuntu GNOME is an official flavour of Ubuntu, featuring the GNOME Desktop Environment.

Your task is to design and create the new default wallpapers for the Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 LTS release. 2 images are the minimum requirement, 4 (in total) are welcome. 1 will be used for the lock screen and 1 as the default desktop wallpaper + the remaining 2 (if any) will be included in the distro.

Requirements:

• Minimum resolution of 2560*1600
• Abstract/minimalistic design, but if you happen to be a photographer that is also welcome. To get a better idea of what we're looking for take a look at the current 15.10 default wallpapers and also upstream GNOME Adwaita wallpapers. We don't want to limit ourselves to what you see there only, the idea is to be similar, but different.
• No logo or trademarks of any kind should be used, i.e. logo of Ubuntu GNOME shouldn't be present on any wallpaper.
• Take into consideration the major UI elements of gnome-shell and how they overlay on the backgrounds.
• Submissions must adhere to the Creative Commons ShareAlike license.
• Attribution must be declared if the submission is based on another design.
• The work has to be your own. We do not accept materials taken from other sources.
