With the release of Ubuntu GNOME 15.10, we have changed the logo:

Since then, an endless debate has started. Some think the new logo is very nice while some think it's very bad. Other users think the new logo is similar to other logos and it's not unique at all.

Your task would be to write an article as a document file (the following file formats are acceptable: .odt, .doc or .pdf) that is not less than half a page but maximum a full page. In this article, you are required to:

1. Write your honest opinion about our new logo.
2. Tell us what the idea behind the new logo was? If you find this hard, you might need to reach out to Ubuntu GNOME Marketing team and ask them about it.
3. When you choose a GNU/Linux system to use, would you make your choice based on its logo or would that be the last thing you would even think about when making a choice?
4. Would you recommend Ubuntu GNOME to a friend?
